This policy explains what data ContentApp collects, why, and your rights over it. ContentApp ("we") connects to your cloud storage to help you turn your media into ready-to-post social content.
Data controller: ContentApp, 2150 Avenue des Alpages, Les Houches, France. Contact: support@contentapp.co.
We use your data only to provide and operate the service: authenticating you, reading the storage folder you connect, generating tags and content, and reading engagement metrics from social accounts you authorise. Our legal bases are performance of our contract with you and, where you connect an account, your consent.
To tag and organise your media, file content is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) at the moment of processing. It is held in memory only for that request, is not used to train models, and is not stored by us or the provider afterwards.
ContentApp's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google Drive data solely to provide the features you request and never sell it, use it for advertising, or share it except as needed to operate the service.
We share data only with service providers who help us run ContentApp, under contract and only as needed:
Some of these are based outside the EEA, including the United States. Where that happens, transfers are protected by adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses. We never sell your data.
Data is encrypted in transit. Storage and social access tokens are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM). Access is restricted to your own account.
We keep your data while your account is active. Disconnecting Dropbox or Google revokes our access and deletes the associated tokens. On account deletion or request, we delete your data, subject to any legal retention obligations.
We use only essential cookies needed to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Under the GDPR you may request access to, correction, or deletion of your data; restrict or object to processing; receive your data in a portable format; and withdraw consent at any time. Email support@contentapp.co to exercise these rights. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL.
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the date above.
